Five of Spoons (Declutter)

To declutter is to remove excess stuff, both physically and mentally. Clutter can really weigh you down whether it is a collection of items that physically prevent you from getting comfortable in your home or a never-ending list of things to remember floating in your brain. Simplifying your existence is a great way to reduce stress. Evaluate your possessions and donate anything you don’t absolutely love or need. Get rid of clothes that don’t fit, kitchen gadgets you never use, and items that don’t have a function. Declutter your mind by doing a brain dump onto paper; carry a notebook or use your phone to write down a list of every- thing you need to remember to do and give your mind a break. Then cross things off as you do them, resisting the urge to take on new tasks unless absolutely necessary to conserve energy for what is most important.
