Four of Wheels (Awareness)

Self awareness is having a clear perception of yourself including thoughts, beliefs, emotions, motives, strengths and weaknesses. Developing awareness can help you learn more about yourself and what you are capable of, and requires an examination of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours in an honest, non-judgmental way. It can help you understand why you react the way you do to the situations in your life, and how your behaviour affects others. Individuals without any self awareness can be defensive or passive aggressive, refuse to accept blame, micro manage others, or say hurtful things they don’t mean. Being open to critiques and feedback from others is a good way to develop awareness. Are you in tune with how others see you? Are you willing to listen to others when they try to discuss your habits or behaviours?
