Your perspective is the way you see things.To put things in perspective is to compare something similar to give yourself a clearer understanding or more accurate idea, ie comparing your worries to the worries of others can sometimes make you see that things aren’t as bad as you think. Envisioning a worst and/or best case scenario can also help to put things into perspective. Being able to shift your perspective and look at things in a different or more positive way is a good method to break patterns and alter your overall way of thinking. Considering another persons perspective or the larger picture can increase understanding, improve mood/happiness, and feelings of satisfaction. Thinking about yourself as a tiny speck on a floating space rock in an endless universe can really put things in perspective.
