Nine of Wheels (Focus)

Being focused is having clear goals in mind and actively working on those specific goals in order to get them done. Focusing your attention on one task at a time without distraction enables you to produce higher quality work/results than when you spread your attention in small amounts over numerous tasks. It often reduces stress levels when you can make quick progress in one area rather than slow ongoing progress in many areas which may cause you to fall behind (increasing stress/anxiety). Being able to take on just one or two things at a time and turn down additional tasks whenever possible keeps the number of balls you are juggling low and allows time for you to focus on the task at hand. It is also an excellent way to care for yourself.Tell others you are really focused on this one thing right now, but you’ll be available again when it’s done. Monotask!
