Setting goals for yourself and working hard to hit them is critical for personal development. A goal is any accomplishment you’d like to make over the course of a day, a week, month, year or lifetime. Starting with small daily goals is a great way to motivate yourself to get things done. It’s important to be kind to yourself and set realistic goals; often when items on the to do list are too broad it can feel intimidating to someone that is already overwhelmed or has a low threshold for stress. A healthy way to set goals is to break those large goals down into smaller more achievable actions and take them one step at a time, ie: Build a garden is a large goal that can be broken down into steps like designing, buying materials, planting seeds, etc. What goals have you set for yourself that can be broken down into smaller, more achievable goals?
