Two of Spoons (Burden)

Emotional burden is an invisible weight you carry around with you caused by attempting to manage or suppress your emotions. Faking you are happy when you are not, for example, can be very emotionally tiring. Doing a lot of emotional labour for others can also place a heavy burden on your mind that makes it hard for you to focus on other things or regulate your emotion. Emotional labour includes all the invisible things you do to make other people happy and that can become expect- ed of you yet simultaneously go unnoticed (ie having to ask others to do specific things when they should know when to do it on their own.) It is exhausting to juggle all of the little tasks that clutter your head as you manage your life and/or the lives of others on a daily basis. How can you reduce your burden? What tasks can you take off your plate?
