Financial well-being is hugely important to managing your stress levels. While it is easy to say spend less than you earn, prioritize needs over wants, and set aside a percentage of all income for savings, the reality is that poverty is widespread and sometimes those things are just not possible. The first step to taking control of your money is to create a detailed budget for yourself and/or your household and understanding the minimum income you need to pay essential bills (housing, transportation, utilities, food, etc) Always pay bills first.
